2. Yang ming heat: poor diet with excessive consumption of rich, sweet and fatty foods leads to blockage of the yang ming damp and heat and eventually fire toxin. These acne break outs occur mostly on the cheeks area.
3. Ren and Chong not regulated: This occurs in older females ( late 30s to early 40s), a mixture of emotional factors and hormonal changes (mainly an increased testosterone level) causes acne break outs, these lesions occur in the chin area
4. Fire toxin, phlegm heat and blood yu: this is in the case of severe cystic acnes all over the face.
